[field title=”Design / Vibe / Vision”]An Elegant, timeless and romantic wedding style. Valentine tried to keep all her details at the one color theme and style.

”There’s something special about spring weeding. While planning this beautiful day, we

were constantly inspired by everything that comes alive in the spring. Fresh spring air,

gentle colors, and timeless scenery. Our approach to the wedding planning was “less is

more” intentionally keeping the focus on our beautiful location and magic atmosphere

filled with pure emotions. It was always a dream of ours to have a small outdoor

intimate wedding, celebrating our love with the closest people in our lives.”[/field]

[field title=”Proposal Story”]From the bride

”Our story began on a quiet evening in the heart of Spokane Washington. Throughout

several years, Marat and I sat 4 feet away every Sunday morning wondering about each

other and waiting for the right time to get to know one another. Beautiful timing is a

concept that we both had to experience in our lives. There was a period when I was

interested and a period where he was curious, however only a few years later at a very

random red light a conversation between two strangers reviled that strangers we are no

more. During one of the beautiful September evenings, we were taking a walk

downtown Spokane by the Riverfront Park next to the gorgeous waterfall where Marat

and I decided to trust each other with our hearts. This place became very sentimental to

both of us. Six months later a sunny Sunday afternoon Marat took me to the Riverside

Park for a little photoshoot which I wasn’t expecting. To my surprise, the park was

empty and the only people there were him and I. Knowing how nervous he gets on

special occasions, I knew he was up to something. He began saying many beautiful

things about our relationship and the last 6 months together. When the moment came,

he asked a very simple question to which I had a very definite answer “Yes”. Sam place,

bigger promise.”[/field]

[field title=”Wedding Gown”]Alyssa Kristin “Camila”

Honest in Ivory Bridal Shop

” I’ve always loved the simple and beautiful things in life, so it only made sense to carry

that taste to my own wedding gown. The fit and gentle flare dress of my dreams was

made of stretch crepe with slightly scooped neck/back. The gown features a fitted

silhouette with a long dramatic train for an extra wow factor. Alyssa Kristin “Camila”-

was the perfect elegant, eye-catching wedding gown that helped shape full vision of this wedding. I was able to locate the dress at our local Honest in Ivory Bridal Shop. Once the

dress came into the picture, every other detail followed effortlessly. Another reason

why I loved this dress the moment I saw it, was because this specific gown allows each

bride to be the focus point, highlighting her most beautiful features. Camila gown is also

timeless. Our vision was to combine elegant and classic aspects which together can last

generations. This wedding gown can be passed down as a family airlume which carries a

great sentimental value.

My wedding gown was perfectly paired with beautiful Kate Spade New York Crawford

peep toe pump, cohesively completing the look. ”[/field]

[field title=”Bridesmaid Dresses”]Bridesmaid dress Miu Miu Weddings – Morgan Gown

”Knowing that my bridesmaid will eventually join the rest of the guests, it was important

to me for her dress to be both comfortable and stunning. Morgan Gown from Show Me

Your Mumu, a sleek and form fitting classic silhouette in the color Show Me The Ring

Stretch Crepe. Both, design, and color complimented my wedding dress as well as stood

out on its own.”[/field]

To continue with a “simple less is more” vision, both groom and the groomsman were

wearing black suit & tie which maintained both timeless and elegant themes. For the

groom we went with a classic black Hugo Boss suit paired with white David Donahue

shirt, simple black tie, and black Gucci plain toe Oxford shoes. Together with a white

wedding dress and dusty gray/pink bridesmaid dress, the black suit completed the

[field title=”Food & Drink”]Simply Catering

” Both the groom and I come from culturally rich eastern European backgrounds which

means all our celebrations include authentic food for all our guests. Keeping in mind

that our wedding set up was meant to be family style, we felt that it is only appropriate

to do a buffet style dinner. Simply Catering had a great verity of authentic European –

Asian dishes out of which we purposefully picked 12 delicious favorites. ”[/field]

[field title=”Florals & Decor”]Venue florals – Simple Elegance

Bridal/bridesmaid bouquets – Anthesis Brides

” Flowers have always been my weakness and passion. When picking our wedding décor, I felt that there are many wedding trends that come and go, however fresh flowers will

always dress any event and make every space look elegant. For venue florals, Simple

Elegance was able to create a magical atmosphere with white roses as main focus.

Jackson vine was the perfect canvas for gentle white garden flowers to pop.

To complete my bridal look I had a few ideas for my bouquet. My beautiful simple gown

was nothing less than perfect on its own however, I felt that a fun mixture of garden

flower will add a charming ambiance to the whole look. Anthesis Brides brought to live a

stunning, soft, romantic bouquet that matched the rest of the wedding florals, however

stood out just enough to steal the floral show. A mixture of white garden roses, peonies,

anemones , ranunculus, Italian ruscus and others came together to form a most gorgeous

wedding bouquet. ”[/field]

[field title=”Readings, Ceremony Music, Reception Songs”]Turning Page (Instrumental) – sleeping at last (performed live)

” Our reception song came to us after a few weeks of searching. We wanted something

instrumental, classy yet not something we hear at every wedding. Turning pages is a

lovely, warm, romantic melody that fit perfectly in our wedding. ”[/field]

[field title=”Special Detail #1″]The Farmhouse on Green Bluff

Soon after the proposal we began our venue search. We had an open mind with just a

few requirements. Our ideal venue had to have beautiful view, a simple outdoor

ceremony location and could fit around 100 guests. At the time, my sister directed us to

a venue that was still under construction in Green Bluff area. Located 30 minutes

outside of Spokane, Green Bluff is surrounded by beautiful scenery. When we arrived to

The Farmhouse on Green Bluff, Crystal was great at helping us visualize everything she

had planned for this venue to be. At the time we were able to see the main white barn,

however all other additions were still under construction. My faïence and I were able to

see the potential this venue had and decided to put out trust in Crystal which was one

of the best decisions. Months later when spring was approaching, Crystal invited us over

to see all the amazing progress and it did not disappoint. We were able to view the

bridal suite, the terrace, ceremony location on a beautiful green lawn, and additionally

the groom’s suite which originally was not planned. We were over the moon the have

our gorgeous wedding at the Farmhouse on Green Bluff.[/field]

[field title=”Special Detail #2″]Photographer:

” We found ourselves looking for a perfect photographer the longest. Having figured out so many details of our wedding we were now ready to commit to someone who will be able to photograph the vision we already had in our head. We we’re looking for someone who could capture moments in a very elegant and effortless way. We wanted the romantic spring atmosphere to captured and transformed to a photograph. When a friend of ours shared Mary’s social media page, I could not get my eyes off her work. My fiancé and I spent an evening looking over Mary’s blog, convinced that we have found our perfect photographer. After contacting Mary, it felt so comfortable and right to move forward with booking her service. The photographs of the wedding day could not have been more beautiful. Mary’s talent photographing events through film is of the highest standard. We could not have be more happy about finding Mary. ”[/field]
