English Garden Inspiration at Fioli Garden

The Planning
The Inspiration
Emerald green landscape painted the hills of Filoli in this spring wedding day editorial. The European architecture of the Bowling Green room was the perfect backdrop for an English garden-inspired tablescape. Dainty pastel-colored blooms, designed by Golden Fields Floristry with creative direction from Sarah Landon, complement the natural beauty of this breathtaking location.
The Venue
Located just 30 mins south of San Francisco, Filoli Garden is also known as the Bourn -Foth Estate. The estate on 654 acres and the garden itself, which is open to the public all year round, dawns 16 acres of seasonal florals. Filoli only allows a few weddings a year here making it one of the most sought-after luxury wedding venues in northern California.
The Fashion
Wedding Gown
The model's dress provided by Kinsley James Couture Bridal, designed by Paolo Sebastian, donned many beautiful layers, yet was light in weight.
The Details
Florals & Decor
Spring’s best blooms such as pansies, sweet peas, and checkered fritilaria were each given their moment to shine in sweet individual dishes and vintage vessels. The table linen and silverware are natural in color as to let the colors of the florals shine.
Favorite Design Element
One of my favorite design elements were the different bouquets tied to the ceremony chairs lining the aisle tying in all the florals of the reception
