Callie and Nate met at Texas Tech University before they both moved onto separate states. Between working full time as a hydrogeologist and seeing her fiance, Nate, when she could, she planned this wedding almost entirely by herself from a different state! Nate, an officer in the Marines, was stationed in Virginia at the time. To make this all the more exciting, Callie and Nate had a day-of coordinator that actually let us know that she wouldn’t be able to make it just thirty minutes before she was scheduled to arrive. With the help of Bella Cavalli’s staff, we were able to pull it off without a hitch! The simplistic elegance of this summer wedding made the couple the focal point of the day. With a first look and private vows before the ceremony, Callie and Nate were able to focus on their love for each other while looking absolutely stunning. The reception was full of energy and excitement, complete with a Marine Corps song by the groom and his comrades. There was even an impromptu money dance! To end a perfect day, Callie and Nate did a tortilla send off. Yep, tortillas. At Texas Tech University, there’s a long-standing tradition that involves throwing tortillas onto the football field after a game is won. So, as an ode to their old stomping grounds and place they first met, a tortilla send off was a perfect way to end the night. And even better, the resident Great Pyreneese dogs got to eat all of them up off the ground! Https://kenseynallphotography. Pixieset. Com/mrmrsunderwood/
