Romantic Lowcountry Vibes for this Charming Spring Wedding

These high school sweethearts celebrated their love with a day that feels like we’ve fallen into a fairytale.  We can’t get enough of the romantic florals designed by Em Creative Florals filling the tented reception, and special details like a canopy of wicker lanterns hanging from overhead designed by Spencer Special Events. Every inch of pretty is beautifully captured in imagery by IVS Photography, take a closer look inside the full gallery.

Matthew and Emily are classic high school sweethearts. They dated throughout their school years, and when it came time to propose, Matthew had a plan. On a trip to Palm Beach, Matt waited until the perfect sunset evening to pop the question. Then, he got down on one knee beside the ocean and asked Emily to marry him.

The pair’s Lowcountry wedding day felt like stepping into a fairytale. Emily wore a chic square neck gown with beautiful 3D floral lace appliqué and a long train that was utterly romantic. After the most charming church ceremony, guests moved waterside to the bourbon bar cart for cocktail hour.

The floral-covered Sperry tent was a statement maker and set the tone for the rest of the night. Dancing was held under a canopy of wicker lanterns and greenery before guests moved indoors to the disco ball after party.
