There’s just something so sweet about elopements… a table for two, an epic view, and a love to last a lifetime. Today’s might just be one of our favorites of all time, inspired by the epic Seven Sisters in Sussex, UK – the setting of this gorgeous day! Planned by Irina Kn, the entire design is the epitome of effortless elegance. Fragrant whites, deep browns and subtle pops of green made for the perfect color palette for the modern arrangements by Fine Stems. From Irina Kn… We had the privilege to create a wedding anniversary photoshoot for a gorgeous couple – Filipa Cardoso, a talented millinery artist, and her husband Daniel Vianna. A couple of meetings with them gave us an insight into their relationship and the kind of love they share with each other.
For the kind of easy, warm love they share with each other we chose the breathtaking white cliffs, the Seven Sisters, in Sussex, UK. In the warm embrace of the setting sun they shared a few beautiful moments. As twilight approached they warmed themselves with champagne and oysters at a cliff-top reception for two.
The colour palette for our photoshoot was inspired by the shades of the cliffs, the sea, the sky and the wild flowers at the scene. The invisible yet familiar smell of the sea was an inspiration as well.
For Filipa, we wanted a dress that perfectly highlighted her effortless beauty. Our search ended when we found the perfect dress by Elizabeth Fillmore at an exclusive Browns bride boutique. The outfit and look was completed with elegant headpieces designed by the bride herself. The headpieces added the perfect touch of chic and drama.
Nothing lifts the mood like fresh flowers and for this setup we chose flowers that almost felt they were indigenous to the setting. Fragrant whites, wild browns and hints of green.
The entire set came together beautifully and was captured by us as the couple shared their true, warm love for each other.
