Bringing Bridgerton Romance to The Lowcountry at the Gaillard Center
As we eagerly await the release date of Bridgerton Season 3, we count ourselves lucky to have dreamy editorials like today's to swoon over until then! Inspired by our favorite regency-era guilty pleasure, Intrigue Design & Events and Katherine & Tyler Photo + Video brought old English romance to the streets of Charleston. From hidden butterfly elements to elaborate florals by Violet Rose Floral, no detail was left unturned. The ton is abuzz over all the beauty to be seen in the full gallery!
From Katherine & Tyler Photo + Video... As you know it, Charleston is known for its breathtaking lowcountry scenery and historic architecture. Katherine with Katherine & Tyler Photo and Chelsye with Intrigue Design and Events are Charleston locals who co-founded The Styled Society, a workshop & retreat pursuit for photographers. They combined their passion & creativity together to bring something completely unique and never been done before to Charleston, which is what they strive to do at every workshop they host.
For this bridgerton inspired editorial, Katherine and Chelsye chose to use The Gaillard performing arts center as the "wedding venue" that would hopefully transport you to an old England chateau. With elaborate florals created by Violet Rose Floral and design elements that would take place in Bridgerton, the atmosphere was completely transformed.
One design element that was important to highlight throughout the editorial was butterflies in which you can see hidden intentionally on the head table. With beautifully handmade butterfly place cards and small realistic ones flying out of the centerpieces, this element tied in perfectly with the butterflies on the brides gown.
