For us, Autumn means a few of our favorite things – crisp air, colorful leaves, pumpkin spice everything and our favorite week of the year. Yup, you guessed it – New York Bridal Fashion Week! ✨ The SMP girls had an absolute blast galavanting around the city hopping from show to show, lattes in hand and a shoe swap in each purse 😉 Today, we’re breaking down the 5 hottest trends of the season that completely dominated the runway, and trust us when we tell you – the list may come as a surprise! To say we’re excited to see these styles grace our pages in 2023 real weddings is a serious understatement. Now, let’s get into all the pretty shall we!
The SuperBride look is here to stay, making waves in this season’s collections as it has in many BFW’s of previous years. But what we didn’t expect to see was the impossible to ignore rise of detachable sleeves! The versatility offered by these functional designs allows brides to bring a whole new vibe to their bridal look. Do we dare ask the question… are detachable sleeves the second dress of 2023? We can’t wait to find out! 😍

At almost every collection we were lucky enough to preview, simple took a backseat and SPARKLE took center stage! We mean it… like the more the merrier. We’re talking rhinestones, glitter, metallics, sequins… the whole enchilada! It was an eye-catching movement we truly never would have expected to see make such a huge splash across all designers’ collections, no matter the genre. It’s giving Carrie Bradshaw circa And Just Like That and we’re hereee for it.

Daring shades from designers who typically stick to the classics had our hearts skipping a beat. This season, the runways were brought to life by unexpected palettes – from hot pinks and deep purples to everything in between. You name it, we saw it! And we can’t get enough.
