This beautiful luxury barn is a new venue in Saint Joseph Michigan. When looking for a location to host my next retreat, this venue caught my eye. With its beautiful all white structure and luxury yet country vibes, It spoke “southern” to me.
Our goal for this retreat was to have a sense of southern charm, So this worked out beautifully. Adding a pop of color in the floral to stand out against the all white space, and compliment the gown was a must. The dress was our main focus and really set the tone for the whole design.
A local dress designer, based in Detroit Michigan, took our vision and designed the gown. Having a local dress designer truly was such an amazing add on to this whole retreat. From the floral to dress, everything turned out pretty and truly had that southern refined charm we were hoping for. Having more than one dress has become such a fun trend and so with that we wanted to add that little extra special element with the shoot. Having the couple change and exit on a sailboat was the perfect ending to a beautiful day.
