From Krista Jean PhotographyAn epic setting, waterfront ceremony, timeless romantic flowers, and a reception that most brides dream of. Did we mention the custom dog tux? Just wait until you see this cutie, Fred, in his tux looking oh so dapper. If you’re looking for a timeless, chic wedding with tons of character, an old factory turned venue with floor-to-ceiling windows is the perfect spot. The floor-to-ceiling windows, industrial ceiling, and original wood floors give this location so much character and charm that it lends to any design. Brehant Creations worked with Ann to bring in a modern character with the luxe florals and helped to design every detail from the Ceremony setup to the warm glow of the reception. Every guest and vendor walked away from this wedding truly feeling like they got to know this couple and their beautiful love story. So many personal and sentimental elements were included that made the day completely unique to them and a perfect reflection of their love for each other. Krista Jean Photography captured every detail so effortlessly from the couple’s portraits to the tablescape. Ann & Justin met while they were both in med school. Ann, not looking at all for anything romantic quickly fell in love with Justin once she put her guard down and the rest was literally history. They share a strong love for philanthropy, animal rescue, traveling and food. Both being from different cultures, they make such a dynamic duo. Their spark is unmatched; both the vendors and guests got to know them on an even deeper, personal level after listening to their vows and watching their intent love for each other. Their personal vows during the ceremony afforded not one dry eye.

Ann changed into three dresses, each one absolutely jaw-dropping. The first was a stunning Leah Da Gloria mermaid gown that was beaded. She wowed everyone as she walked down the aisle. She was glammed up by Larissa Lake & Co. and her cathedral veil was the perfect way to complete her elegant look. Justin wore a classic black tuxedo and Christian Louboutin oxfords. Justin surprised Ann with a custom emerald Jemma Wynne engagement ring designed and handmade in NYC by designers Jenny Klatt & Stephanie Wynne. She wanted something unique and different and Justin delivered with this stunning green ring, that just happened to match perfectly with the wedding design might we add! They chose matching Cartier love wedding bands for their wedding rings. Their ceremony took place at the Landing overlooking the water at The Lace Factory. In Bloom Events Designs created the perfect organic, circular floral backdrop overlooking the water. The most precious guests sat on the dock and the rest sat in the shade. Fred, the dachshund, wore a custom tux made by Cloud K9 Weddings and Lola, their sweet girl wore a custom floral collar for their big debut down the aisle as their flower girl and ring bearer. For The Love Of Paws did a fabulous job getting them ready for the big walk and they even got to be in portraits after the ceremony which are to die for.

Brehant Creations completely transformed the reception space from a very blank-slate room. The florals by In Bloom Events Designs were designed to elevate the entire design, as they collaboratively worked with the designer and bride to make sure the centerpieces were each a little different to create more interest in the overall design. It was such an elegant and classy design that included over two hundred candles, a perfect reflection of Ann & Justin. Both Ann & Justin changed and came out looking just as amazing as before, Justin with a red velvet tux jacket and Ann in a chic and sleek modern gown with an open back by Alexandra Grecco. Their first dance was under a floral chandelier dripping in romantic white and green florals and lit up by Edison bulbs. The night ended with the best party with lots of dancing and a fun “crazy hour” a nod to Ann’s Venezuelan Culture. Ann & Justin are fun, laid back, and classy. The whole day was a perfect combination of the two of them.
