After a 3 time postponement due to COVID, Robbie & Tim finally got to celebrate their wedding the way they wanted it at the lavish Fairmont in San Francisco. It was a wedding celebration incorporating classic traditions from Robbie’s Jewish faith and Tim’s Korean heritage. The two were pronounced husband and husband witnessed by their friends and family in exquisite fashion at the gorgeous hotel. It was hard not to fall in love with these two gentleman myself, as they exuded style, grace and a gratitude unlike I have ever seen towards all their loved ones and vendors. Robbie and Tim were pure love and their admiration for one another really showed throughout their day. Dressed in matching Fendi couture suits and shoes, these two men were stylishly dressed to impress from head to toe. Everything from the San Francisco city skyline to the gorgeous table settings fit together with a harmonious elegance that brought their wedding details together in an opulent manner. Each detail was planned to perfection and executed to a tee by our favorite wedding planner Mandy Scott of Mandy Scott Events who kept the timeline of the day flowing perfectly. Having a first look is such an intimate moment so the couple decided to share their first look on their hotel room balcony overlooking the city scape followed by portraits with their adorable little pup Noona who was wearing a classic Korean Hanbok. Cocktail hour was kicked off by circus performers indulging the guests in a fantasy world of stilt walkers, hand stands and Champagne skirts. Guests were greeted and chaperoned by The Glamazon woman on stilts who directed people to the rooftop garden where cocktail hour and ceremony was held. Everyone enjoyed mingling with a pre-ceremony champagne delight and were accompanied by live string trio entertainment. To bring even more excitement and eye candy performance to the to the pre celebratory event was a live contortionist that pretzeled in and out of poses in an effortless way followed by a live aerialist that performed pole acrobatics on a half moon sphere. Robbie and Tim had an intimate traditional Ketubah signing in a private room where just a few of their friends and family witnessed the ritual surrounding the couple with support. The two were granted blessings and prayers by their Rabbi and pronounced officially as husband and husband. Part two of their wedding ceremony proceeded out in the garden where Tim and Robbie exchanged vows and rings under a beautiful floral chuppah in classic color tones of blush, white and antique roses nested in lush greenery designed so beautifully by florist Heather Cassady of Wish Social Events.
Guests were moved to tears witnessing the the final pronouncement and showered the couple with clapping and cheers of love. It was clear to me that Robbie and Tim were surrounded by positive energy by everyone that attended the soirée and in return the two really wanted to give their guests the party of a lifetime with entertainment that went on throughout the night! The reception was held in the Gold Ballroom that sparkled with decadents all around. Ornate gold leaf lined walls and a turn of the century French provincial detailing paired with the hand painted art brought an authenticity and old world class. Filled with a soft floral color pallet were tables that defined class with a touch of glam. Chandelier lined ceilings coupled with the dimmed wall scones and tall candle votives invoked the mood of old romance in the exquisite setting. Robbie and Tim’s first slow dance was a lyrical and beautiful but then the couple had a quick outfit change into Versace street clothes and stepped it up with a hip hop choreographed dance that made the crowd go wild! A show to rival Saturday night in the Castro of San Francisco with money guns, dollar bills and outrageous gowns worn by drag artists concluded dinner. The couple ended the night with cake cutting, champagne toasting and the wild chair tossing Hora describing their wedding as “definitely worth the wait”.
