From the bride Madeline… When Chris and I were envisioning our wedding, we wanted something that captured our love for nature and the outdoors at our Southern California wedding venue. Chris is from Montana, so having mountain views was an absolute must. I have always been a huge flower lover, so I knew I wanted to have plenty of blossoms and greenery to create a naturally beautiful feel. Our favorite part about the wedding planning process was collaborating with our incredible wedding planner, Jacqueline Hallgarth Events, to add personal touches that highlight who we are as a couple and where we come from.

Since we currently live in Colorado, we really wanted to find a way to incorporate it into our special day. Instead of doing a traditional guest book, we compiled our engagement photos taken in the San Juan Mountain Range of Colorado and had guests sign the album as they could flip through us frolicking in the gorgeous mountains covered in wildflowers. We again were able to echo the mountain theme through the stunning invitations that Swell Press was able to curate for us.

As mentioned above, Chris is a Montana man and it was important that we gave a nod to his home state. At the wedding, we served Montucky Cold Snacks, one of his favorite Montana beers–needless to say the Montanan guests were quite thrilled to have a taste from home. I was able to highlight my Californian roots by serving Line Shack and Heart of the Matter Wines–not only Californian wine, but wine made by my Aunt, Uncle, and Cousin winemakers! Our wedding was an absolute dream and we feel so grateful to all of the people who made it a reality. Because of them, we were able to truly enjoy spending a day with all of the people that we love.
