When two wedding photographers get married in Greece, you know it’s going to be magic! Talk about major European summer vibes – Anna Roussos and Thanos Asfis are giving us wanderlust with their waterfront nuptials at Cycladic Gem Villa, set against the deep azure backdrop of the Aegean Sea. The stunning sun-shaped arch is the star of the ceremony while Lily of the Valley created a day of sheer luxury and elegance, complete with floating crystal chandeliers. From Diane Kiameh, the wedding planner… Anna and Thanos professed their vows against a wanderlust backdrop surrounded by their nearest and dearest in the mesmerizing Cycladic Gem villa on the exclusive island of Ios. A customized sun arch served as both the main inspiration and canvas for their nuptials as it dazzled on the edge of a waterfront Grecian inspired amphitheater and against the deep azure shades of the Aegean Sea.
The color palette of nude and blush tones was enhanced with gold accents. The flowers were of a mix of garden roses complemented by bleached foliage.
The reception table was covered with a delicate beige tablecloth. Modern tableware consisting of gold cutlery and striped glasses as well as sophisticated porcelain dinner plates completed the contemporary mood. Blush taper candles placed on long gold candleholders and floating crystal chandeliers added the final luxury touches to the romantic set-up.
The stunning gown by Annadi designed especially for Anna’s big day was embellished with a long dreamy cape and paired perfectly with the aesthetics of the wedding event. The groom on the other hand looked dapper in his bespoke white and black tuxedo. Their day was just a dream and friends and family were thrilled to celebrate their union!
