The serene Sonoma wine country makes the sweetest backdrop for Courtney & Adam’s summertime wedding at Mayacama Club. Fresh and fun were what the happy couple and Ashley Smith Events had in mind while planning this special day. Hues of pink, lavender, and cream set the intentional and intimate ambiance with bursts of marigold adding vibrancy to the dreamy palette. Playful accents were all around to delight the guests – from ratan décor to a sushi station and even a disco room! From Planner Ashley Smith… Courtney & Adam are a fun-loving free-spirited couple that exudes sweetness and joy into everyone around them. Courtney and Adam were one of the couples that got engaged and started planning their wedding right before the pandemic hit. Originally scheduled for late September 2020, we pushed the wedding back one year and were able to host it in August of 2021.
They hosted a love-filled weekend in wine country at The Maycama in Sonoma, CA. The weekend was surrounded by loved ones who gathered safely (because of COVID) outdoors around Mayacama at their parents home playing golf and swimming. Mayacama was a serene wine-country backdrop for their summer wedding.
We really wanted the space to feel fresh and alive. We brought in colorful flowers from marigold in huges of pinks, lavender, and creams. The dinner space was meant to feel intentional, fun, and cozy. We brought in marigold colored fabric to drape the space to create intimacy during dinner & fun ratan pendants to add some playfulness and shape to the space through lighting. The guests spent the evening dinning on a massive seafood bar, sushi station, and Crudités bar from Michael Minna during cocktail hour and a four course dinner afterward. We created a disco room for them to dance the night away in.
