Look up! This couple’s reception had a garden-inspired floral installation, designed by Floressence Flowers, hanging from the ceiling of their reception! The Gathering Co. planned the dreamlike day with love in the details, like the bell jar seating chart display that glowed with candlelight. Every meaningful moment was artfully captured in the imagery by Madeline Trent, take a look at the full gallery for a closer look at all the fun.
From The Gathering Co… The design plan for Abby and Colton’s wedding day was inspired by contemporary simplicity, neutral undertones, and pops of fresh, spring colors. With a rustic yet naturally beautiful and elegant venue as Old Edwards Inn And Spa for this event, we were able to add several intentional, modern and sophisticated design elements into the vision of the day. From black tabletop accents to a lush garden-inspired floral installation – glamorous party sleeves to sleek stationery and thank you notes for each guest – Abby and Colton’s day was overflowing with friends, family, ice cream, and some sick dance moves from the groom himself!
From Madeline Trent… From the moment I first met Abby and Colton for their destination engagement session in Austin, Texas, I knew that would be a very special couple to work with. They did not disappoint on their wedding day! Abby wanted each of her guests to have a wonderful, relaxing experience at their destination wedding- and she carefully considered every detail of her wedding to make it an unforgettable day for every person who was in attendance. I think they invented the term “sweet bride” just for Abby because she was not only beaming the entire day, but every person who was there could not stop gushing about what an incredibly kind, sweet, and wonderful person she is.
The “dream team” of The Gathering Co., Floressence Flowers, and Latia Curtis really brought the color palette and modern design to life- from the hanging floral installation over the head table, to the growing seating chart which felt like you were standing in a garden of lenten roses- every touch felt considerate and meant for guests to experience and get to know the couple better. I will never forget working with these two incredible families and their incredible team of vendors!
