Sophisticated Vineyard Wedding in Virginia’s Wine Country

Elegant yet masculine design, rolling hills of Virginia’s wine country, locally sourced favorites, and enough love to last a lifetime – today’s Early Mountain Vineyards wedding  designed by Miranda Bricker is everything we could ask for and more. Katie Ranger Design Studio created organic arrangements to compliment the already stunning setting, while Natalie Jayne Photography was behind the lens capturing every last detail. From Miranda Bricker… Steven & Brandon fell in love among the bucolic, rolling hills of Virginia’s wine country, so it was a no brainer for the California residents to choose the viticulture of central Virginia to host their nuptials. With guests traveling from all over the country to enjoy the everlasting charm of the Monticello Wine Trail, Early Mountain Vineyards became the perfect location for their early Summer celebration.

With every detail intentionally planned and each vendor thoughtfully selected, this soirée became the ultimate reflection of Steven & Brandon’s long-lasting relationship – solidified by their love of each other, their love of Virginia, and their love of fabulous wine.

The couple hosted an intimate gathering with 60 of their closest loved ones gathering from near and far. Guests arrived at an outdoor ceremony surrounded by idyllic views of the vines and agrarian scenery. Complementary organic greenery arrangements by Katie Ranger Design Studio allowed the couple to be forefront of the occasion, and the ceremony was officiated by a family friend with ties to both grooms.

Their elegant yet masculine aesthetic provided an anchor throughout every piece of the event. Designed by dear friend of the couple Miranda Bricker, the organic and celebratory environment was palpable around every corner. From the neutral al-fresco cocktail hour, to the clean tabletop design inviting guests to the reception, to the timeless champagne tower, the wedding was wrought with the simplest of loving touches.

The couple sourced local favorites – like Virginia Diner Peanuts and C-Ville Candy Company treats – to create custom gift boxes to welcome each guest to their reception. They even made sure to include confetti nonpareils in celebration of their wedding occurring during Pride month!

Brandon is a self-acclaimed foodie (not to mention a fabulous cook!), so the culinary experience was number one on their list of must-haves. Early Mountain’s cuisine did not disappoint, as Executive Chef Tim Moore hails from Michelin-star rated The Inn at Little Washington. When paired with a variety of Early Mountain’s award-winning and estate grown wine, the comprehensive meal will stand the test of time in the memory of their attendees.

Expertly captured by the easy-going Natalie Jayne Photography, Steven & Brandon’s overwhelming love shines through every image. Cheers to the happy couple!
