You'll Love The Elevated Elegance At This Holman Ranch Editorial Shoot

When creating the design for our shoot, we envisioned a romantic escape into the countryside for a Spring wedding celebrated amidst serenity and natural beauty. Holman Ranch, situated atop rolling hills overlooking the Carmel Valley and breathtaking views of sun-drenched mountains, was the perfect location to bring this vision to life.

Although the venue provides such charm and comfort with its secluded stone hacienda, roaming horses, and grassy fields, we hoped to stray from the traditional rustic setting and introduce a fresher, more vibrant feel. By adding leather and wood accents as seen in the lounge furniture, tabletop, and ceremony design, and enhanced by colorful linens and Spring florals, we created an elevated ranch-style setting that is equal parts elegant and modern.

In continuing with our unique design, we selected fun textures and colors for our bride and groom’s attire. We dressed our bride in an ivory jacquard dress with waist cutouts, removable sleeves, and a corsetted bustier, followed by a playful jumpsuit. Both outfits were complemented with bold pearls, cascading diamonds, and other statement jewelry pieces for a fierce, feminine touch. Our groom wore a marigold shawl-collared tuxedo jacket for a unique reception look.
