Just wait until you see how beautiful baby’s breath can be! For Victoria and Dan’s wedding, Xquisite Events created a design that used this often overlooked flower in the most wonderful of ways. They turned the special day into a full-out fairytale with clouds of the white blooms popping up everywhere! Posh Parties carefully planned every detail to perfection, making sure to mix modern elements with Jewish traditions that were very near to the groom’s heart. We can’t get enough of every elegant photo artfully captured by Shea Christine Photography, you can see them all inside the full gallery.
Victoria and Dan chose to get married in Palm Beach because it is a special destination for Victoria, as she grew up visiting her grandparents and great grandparents there and has years of happy family memories at ice cream shops and beaches. For Dan, a Hungarian Jewish Immigrant whose family was marred by the Holocaust, the Jewish aspects of the wedding were of crucial importance.
Victoria and Dan integrated traditional Jewish rituals into their wedding celebration like a bedeken, the signing of the ketubah, blessings during the ceremony, and, of course, the hora. Their wedding was ethereal and filled with baby’s breath throughout the decor elements. They had a custom watercolor crest made by Posh Parties in-house designer and it was used as a theme throughout.
Victoria carried lily of the valley which was the perfect accessory to her Daalarna Courture dress, which is a Hungarian designer, a nod to her husband’s heritage. The ring that was on her bouquet was my grandmother’s wedding band, which is blue enameled. It was her something borrowed and my something blue! Their first dance song was Annie’s Song by John Denver and the guests enjoyed a delicious meal followed by a roaming make-your-own ice cream for dessert along with wedding cake.
