From the Bride… We almost gave up on having a wedding at one point because none of our parents would be able to make it due to the Covid situation. Now we think about it, having our own wedding is one of the best decisions my husband and I have ever made together.

We are so grateful that we had the opportunity to celebrate our marriage with the closest friends. I was instantly sold by the wine cellar the first time we visited the venue. The size is perfect for our small wedding with a guest count of 30. The vaulted ceiling with the beautiful gate of the cellar provides an open-air feel and is also with elegance, and just the right amount of extra.

From the florist… Fall in Sonoma is a magic time when gorgeous fall colors spread across the wine county. When I discussed the color palette with the bride, she definitely wanted to features the fall color story in the wedding. From there, we came up 2 main colors, red, which is the traditional/official Chinese wedding color, and toffee, which has some vintage character to match the Tuscany styled property. Red flowers are the stars at the reception, contrasted with whites. And toffee is largely used at the ceremony and on the bride’s bouquet.

From the bride… Anthurium and moth orchards are my two favorite flowers. I love how they are featured and being paired so well. Our florist recommended an open arch for the ceremony. It’s such a smart idea. Our guest got a better view at the ceremony and the arch is also very flexible for repurposing.
