This Couple Had A Tearful Moment Before The Ceremony

Love knows no bounds at this beautiful The Paine Art Center And Gardens wedding.  The day started on a sentimental note, with our couple standing side by side at the garden gates crying happy tears in an intimate moment before the ceremony.   Whitney and Matsaya Photography captured every heartfelt moment exquisitely in artful imagery, and JJ's Floral Design and Events filled the day with romantic blush blooms to make it an unforgettable experience.  You can see the full day unfold in the full gallery.
From the bride... My wedding took place at The Paine Art Center And Gardens, a historic estate museum with lush greens and blooming flowers. This venue was a unique place in Central Wisconsin and one of the few venues that reflected a style I absolutely love. It's hard to find an "old-word" and timeless venue in Wisconsin, so I was so excited to find this! The Paine is filled with photo-worthy gardens and rooms, and upon touring this venue, we knew we had to get married here! Traditionally, the venue has a specific spot for outdoor ceremonies, but I requested to have it right behind the mansion, so our ceremony was outdoors on the Great Lawn! The asymmetrical floral installation was designed with my favorite blush pink color palette in mind, with a unity ceremony table centered in the middle of the installation. For the reception, our florist,JJ's Floral Design and Events designed a beautiful sweetheart table installation where crisp, white chandeliers hung down from. I chose La Tavola Linen Tuscany linens, a neutral-toned color with a hint of green to warm and freshen up the reception room! The beauty and the glory of a wedding is most magnified in the union of lovers. It was important for our wedding to be everything we wanted it to be, but at the very heart of our wedding day, what mattered the most to me was the man standing at the end of the aisle and the people witnessing this sweet, sweet day.
Soon before the ceremony was set to start, Junior and I met near the garden gates to have an intimate moment together, but with our eyes closed (I did not want to reveal my dress yet). I stood next to him and we prayed for each other, preparing our hearts for the rest of the day. Knowing how emotionally attuned Junior was, I anticipated that he would cry, but I never thought I would do the same! It was one of my favorite parts of the day! Walking down the aisle was also an emotional time for everyone: Junior and me, the bridal party, and the guests. My father is no longer with us, so my mother had the wonderful honor of walking me down the aisle. Throughout my wedding planning days, Junior mentioned that he had a surprise waiting for me on the day of our wedding. I was so nervous and excited on our wedding day, that I completely forgot about his wonderful surprise. As the wedding coordinator signaled my mother and I to walk down the aisle, I heard a familiar song playing and I knew right away that this was his surprise. It was the acoustic song Junior wrote and sang to me since the first day our romance began. My heart was so full.
Once the ceremony ended, guests were free to roam the venue gardens and enjoy cocktail hour while the bridal party and bride and groom went out to take pictures. The grand entrance began right before sunset and dinner and speeches were to follow. After having the first dance, we played an amusing game where Junior was blindfolded and tasked to find the love of his life in a pool of people. Using every hand as a clue, Junior narrowed it down to two people and eventually made his way to find me! This activity brought so much laughter and memorable moments into our lives.
