From The Ganeys… Holman Ranch is a charming property in the heart of Carmel Valley. After the couple graduated from college, they went on a road trip and stopped in Carmel. They knew they wanted to get married in the area some day – and after some research they found Holman Ranch. The textures, colors, views – it is a remarkable venue!
Ali and Andrew’s wedding style was fresh and vibrant. They put so much trust into their vendors – providing some inspiration – and then letting them take it from there. The result was inspiring and colorful! Modern, playful wedding invitations. A dainty yet dynamic bouquet – wrapped in a handkerchief that Andrew’s mom got when he was a baby. Popcorn for guests as they entered the venue – a nod to Ali and Andrew’s careers in LA. A ceremony space where flowers appeared to be growing down the aisle. Ikebana style flower arrangements at the reception. Every element was memorable and unique.
During the ceremony, Ali’s father walked her down the aisle. She was a vision! Ali’s bridesmaids stood by her side and carried petite bouquets and wore velvet mismatched Jenny Yoo gowns in the perfect fall tones. Ali and Andrew exchanged rings and brief personal vows. One of Ali’s rings (she had 3!) was her mother’s and one band included the diamond’s from her grandmother’s ring.
A delicious meal was enjoyed as Ali’s father welcome the guests. The couple cut a petite cake and guests enjoyed a full on dessert spread by the barn where the dancing was held. A vintage photo booth was enjoyed by all as merriment continued throughout the evening. It was such a special wedding celebration where every guest felt like family.
