From Christina of Parker Nichols Events… We loved working with Kelly and Todd on their September 2021 Wedding. This classic couple wanted to have a summer garden party style wedding and we loved bringing their vision to life! Originally, we were planned to transform a local tennis club for for this timeless affair but once our couple saw Bear Flag Farm, they knew this private estate was the perfect location for their fall nuptials.
This venue had everything our couple was looking for… and more! Designing this day was a dream. Sailcloth tents, fresh lavender fields and endless green spaces provided the perfect backdrop for this occasion. We kept the ceremony classic with a beautiful floral arch from the Posh Posey, white chiavari chairs and a live quartet in the sunken garden.
Guests moved on to our tented cocktail in the Citrus Grove where they sipped on Margaritas and Negronis. Reception took place in the lavender garden; A beautiful green space set between two lavender fields. Bistro lights, tapered candles, and the most beautiful sunset created the perfect scene. Wooden cross back chairs, clear beaded chargers, and gold flatware pulled together our table scape.
Our finishing touch, and probably my favorite small detail of the day, was our personalized baguettes at each place setting with custom tags from Postal Press. Dinner was a formal, plated meal from Farm to Table Catering who is known for their delicious options and beautiful, farm fresh aesthetic. Our couple decided on five, 6 layer chocolate cakes from Susie Cakes, a favorite of the bride. It was the perfect early fall evening. Guests danced under the moonlight and celebrated this amazing couple!
