You won’t be able to take your eyes off of this amazing Amalfi Coast wedding. Held at Villa Astor, an extraordinary private residence boasting one of the most beautiful gardens in Europe, Central Italy Wedding planned a day that rivals the beauty of the location. The romantic floral arrangements styled by Carolina Floral Design beautifully compliment the elegance of the day which was artfully captured in the imagery by Federico Lanuto Photography. From Central Italy Wedding… The inspiration for this styled shoot starts from the location, Villa Astor, one of the most beautiful venues in Sorrento, a magical place overlooking the sea. A historic home of insurmountable value with lush gardens full of plants and flowers, and even with natural caves.

Once you arrive, you would never take your eyes off the breathtaking panorama and that sea that goes from turquoise to emerald, and it is precisely this last color that we wanted to use as a contrast in the palette of neutral tones. The floral arrangements were harmonious so as not to overwhelm the beauty of the villa, as for the ceremony we recreated a semi-arch that followed the shape of the crypt entrance as if to blend in with the vegetation.

For the table set, centerpieces and crystal candelabra, alternating with fruit bowls, and with a mise en place with gold details. The formal dress with long puff sleeves, the deep neckline, and the lightness of the fabric was a reference to the interiors of the villa, rich in statues and ancient beauties as if to bring back a Greek Goddess with gathered hair supported by gold “leaves” and long pearl earrings. For the second change dress, a short skirt on the front and a loose hairstyle, embellished only by floral gold pendants.
