With the help of Milk Events, the dreamy day delighted guests at every turn. A classic combination of green and white led the design and was highlighted in the fabulous flowers by De Flora Event Flowers. From the bride and groom... Geoffrey and I are college sweethearts who got engaged while both finishing graduate school. He popped the question in Malibu after a helicopter ride with just the two of us- something that I’ll cherish forever.
We visited many venues, but since Geoffrey’s family would be flying in from Taiwan, it was important to choose a venue where guests could feel like they were on vacation with easy access to their hotel rooms throughout the entire weekend. For that reason, we fell in love with Hyatt Huntington Beach for the resort feel and the beautiful ocean scenery as a backdrop for our ceremony.
Leaning into the classic wedding theme, I knew that I wanted specifically a film photographer to capture our wedding. I always love looking back at my parent's old wedding and family photos and remember my dad using film cameras growing up. I knew we had to choose someone skilled in film photography so we chose Mallory from Mallory Dawn Photography and she was one of my favorite vendors to work with.
