When life hands you lemons, make lemonade! This inspiration shoot is proof that your destination wedding plans can still be brought to life in your own backyard. Outstanding Occasions planned a day that demonstrated that no matter the circumstances you can create beauty anywhere. From the hand-tied bouquets that also served as guests’ escort cards to custom floral drinks, each detail feels intentional and special. From Elyse Hall Photography… At a time when most couples couldn’t wrap their head around revisioning, the plans of what once was to what now could be, we felt the need to show how truly beautiful and celebratory an intimate wedding can be. So from the desire of celebrating beauty, diversity, intimacy, and love came our styled shoot vision.
The design vision for this shoot was to feel like a soft and romantic outdoor celebration that had layers of classic, whimsy, and romance. Each detail was carefully selected to play a nod to European details and textiles while still feeling fresh and modern with monochromatic color schemes.
The tablescape was set in monochromatic linens and plate ware with vintage style flatware rounding out each place setting allowing the soft whimsical blush floral to stand out amongst the romantic candles. We hand-selected a beautiful real couple and group of diverse extras to showcase in the shoot to show that not all weddings fit into the same mold, and different is even more beautiful.
