This Bright And Bold Fall Wedding Celebrates Indian Heritage Beautifully

When it comes to this Charleston wedding brighter is better! A bold color palette with fun pops of pink and orange make this beautiful day, planned by Hill & Co. Creative, shine even brighter. Fabulous floral designs by Stephanie Gibbs Events have us feeling as if we’ve fallen into the prettiest of fairytales. We love the blending of tradition with modern touches, all elegantly captured in the artful imagery by Anne Rhett Photography. Get lost in all the lovely in the full gallery.

From Hill & Co. CreativeWhen Preeya and I began planning the details of her wedding day it was important to incorporate ties to her Indian heritage. For centuries, the elephant has been regarded as a sacred creature in Indian culture and it is regarded as a well-known cultural symbol for them. We wanted to incorporate them into the design for this reason.

Preeya loves color and it was so fun to be able to include fun pops throughout the entire design. From the table cloths to the taper candles and even the cake design we were sure to brighten up this October day with as many bright hues as possible!

Covid drastically changed the wedding plans. We pivoted the plans from a large outdoor wedding reception, invited only close friends and family, and figured out how to build a mandap inside! In the end it all came together beautifully.
