Not many people get to marry the love of their life twice, but this couple did just that! Plans of a big wedding were put on hold due to the pandemic, so our lovebirds decided to get married in a small family wedding instead. A year later they got married for the second time, but with the help of Kristina Taheri Special Events they threw the dream day they had been hoping for. The crisp green and white color palette at this gorgeous garden wedding kept things classic, while lush blooms designed by Life In Bloom took the celebration to new heights- literally! Living chandeliers, of greenery and white flowers, were suspended over reception tables for a look guests couldn’t help but love. From Kristin La Voie Photography… From the start of planning, we knew we wanted an outdoor wedding. After visiting venues all around Chicago we fell in love with the beauty and tranquility of the Chicago Botanic Gardens. Considering the natural aesthetic of the venue, we wanted to keep the floral simple and elegant.
We went with whites, neutrals, and greenery to parallel the gardens. Gold pops added elegance to the venue without stealing the show. Our officiant Kelly was a mutual friend of both of ours (unknowingly) before we even met! Kelly was a sorority sister of mine and met Max where she previously worked. It was so special to have her renew our vows and marry us for a second time!
It was so special that we were able to celebrate our first wedding anniversary on the same day as our original wedding. The drinks were flowing, the music was playing, and everyone was having a great time, and despite a forecast that was filled with rain, mother nature cooperated all day! It was everything we dreamed about thanks to our incredible team of vendors!
