Bold details, burlesque entertainers and balloon sleeves – yup, you read that right! Today’s inspiration at Domaine des Halles from Dorothee Le Goater Events is sure to blow you away. Kahina Events created effortlessly beautiful arrangements infused with French femininity, while the bride stunned in multiple jaw-dropping gowns from Metal Flaque Paris. Lucky for us, every can’t-miss detail was captured by Andreas K. Georgiou, leaving us with a full gallery of pretty to be inspired by for weeks to come.
From Dorothee Le Goater Events…When they approached Dorothée Le Goater Events agency, Xin and Daniel had only one thing in mind: to create an event with visual and emotional impact for their guests. Visually, through a bold, unexpected, colorful, and sophisticated design. Emotionally, by creating an immersive experience with the presence of burlesques artists to entertain their guests.
Their experience at Domaine des Halles was spread over several days. The first day was dedicated to a chic and surprising garden party. X&D is not a couple like everyone else, that’s why, we worked closely with Benjamin from Discotecnik agency on a personalized scenography: the couple would make their entrance at their cocktail party surrounded by burlesque dancers inspired by the French cancan tradition. The tone was set for an unexpected weekend!
When it came to decorating the tables for this garden party, we needed to find ideas that would live up to the couple’s bold and sophisticated vision. So, we made our selection of plates from a very high-end and avant-garde French brand, Bernardaud. We were sure to find a table setting that had not been seen before.
The weekend continued on the second day with a romantic end-of-day ceremony in front of the gorgeous castle facade, then guests were treated to an al fresco dinner. Thinking about the signature style of their wedding reception, we came up with the idea of a dinner inspired by the modern nobles Art de vivre”, whose elegance would be the perfect mix of modern aesthetics and feminine look. That’s why, for the head table, we opted for a tablecloth that would make a statement, like a work of art. It would be the starting point of the table decoration. In our vision, this tablecloth could only be floral, colorful and sophisticated, reflecting the confident personality of our clients. The plates and cutlery were deliberately chosen to be understated to highlight the patterned tablecloth that sets the tone for the entire design.
To complete the design, we asked the florist to create a floral cloud that would float above the guests, enveloping them in a timeless French atmosphere. For the other guests, we opted for square tables to facilitate discussions. We played on the design by using the color palette and patterns of the head table to promote visual harmony with the head table.
For her fashion and beauty looks, Xin made a cutting-edge selection. All of her dresses are from the fashion-forward Metal Flaque store in Paris. She dared a short dress with big balloon sleeves for her garden party look and a structured dress in fine, elegant lace to say “oui” to l’amour the next day. Xin and Daniel dreamed of a celebration outside the traditional wedding codes, the team created for them an incredible atmosphere in which the guests could enjoy dancing and toasting until the early morning.
