With unparalleled views of the Long Island Sound, a rolling meadow, and the feeling of being surrounded by nature from the second you step on the property— Kontokosta Winery was exactly what this couple was looking for when it came to their wedding. With her expertise in designing gorgeous, outdoor tented weddings, the bride and groom turned to Amanda Barbara Events to bring their vision of an elegant outdoor celebration to life. Crisp white blooms with hints of blue by Wildflower Floral Events brought the day to life in the most wonderful of ways. From the bride... Bryan and I met over six years ago during my first summer out of college in Manhattan. While it took a couple of tries before I said yes, once we had our first date we never looked back.
When deciding where to get married, we knew we wanted to be close to Bryan’s family home in Long Island, but still, bring in the feel of my Vermont roots. The second we saw Kontokosta Winery, we knew our search was over.
When the day did finally arrive, everything was truly perfect—the literal fairytale I had imagined since I was a little girl. With family, friends, our team of extraordinary vendors, and our puppy Watson by our side, Bryan and I had the wedding day that dreams are made of.
