Classic European Romance Inspired by the French and Italian Countryside

Inspired by the classic romance of the European countryside, Amorology designed Danielle & Frankie’s nuptials with an earthy color palette, organic elements, and playful nods to where they met — law school! Oak & the Owl created a stately old world charm with winding floral arrangements at Vista Valley Country Club. The couple’s “Law of Attraction” was interwoven into the entire day – from the witty His and Hers cocktails to the “witness” sign at the dessert table that proved justice is best served sweet! From AmorologyOur theme was “Law of Attraction” – Classic European romance inspired by the French and Italian countryside woven with modern earthy organic touches setting the tone for their wedding, while incorporating playful elements that give a subtle nod to Danielle + Frankie’s meeting at mock trial while in law school.

Our color palette: Soft and soothing shades of sage, eucalyptus and dusty blue blended with warm romantic tones of gold, camel, terracotta and an accent of soft buttercup yellow.

Guests approached the bench as they took their seats on wood wexler and farm benches to celebrate Danielle + Frankie as they said I Do. Luscious florals created by Oak and the Owl guided the bride + groom down the aisle as they met at the arbor that had European styled pillars with climbing vines and florals, reminiscent of upholding values of love and justice.

The guests made their way to cocktail hour, catching refreshments at the side bar with the sweetest of pendants floating above them in a cloud of florals and greenery. Friends and family sipped on His and Hers signature cocktails that played to the theme with cocktails named No Judgement and Impeachment. After lounging for a bit, guests were drawn to the Can I Get a Witness sign-in table with a laser-engraved wood record player with lyrics of the bride + groom’s first dance song and a collection of on and off the record prompt cards to give their best to the newlyweds.

Danielle + Frankie joined the party with a grand entrance that led to a fun champagne tower toast! A lifesize Double Jeopardy backdrop welcomed guests to play one of the couple’s favorite games, finding their personalized slogan written by the bride + groom and flipping over the revolving tile to discover their table assignment that doubled as a Jeopardy score, all hand-calligraphed by Four Things Paper.

Guests found their seats as each table number was embellished on a wooden gavel accompanied by their Jeopardy score. Market lighting sparkled above the space surrounded by trees, with a mix of carved wood and trestle dining tables and rounds that were draped in cadet blue linens with a mix of natural crossback chairs and classic French cane back chairs for guests to be seated in. The bride + groom were the focal point at the sweetheart table under the pergola, adorned with a white gauzy runner and florals for days. The tabletop design was al-fresco inspired with organic tones and textures, hints of blush and gold, and miniature terracotta bowls with pink Himalayan salt at each place setting.

Our dessert table was adorned with scales of justice and florals filled with the yummiest mini desserts by Hey There, Cupcake and a hand-painted sign by Four Things Paper reading, “No debate, it’s worth the weight!” as a subtle nod to the couple meeting at mock trial.
