Our LA couple decided to go big with a chic farewell Texas wedding which turned into a surprise pregnancy announcement for guests! The pair’s first date was at a bookstore, where the proposal later also took place, so Shannon Rose Events wove the theme throughout the day. Book-inspired designs filled the wedding, like favors that were the bride’s favorite book which doubled as escort cards. You’ll fall in love with the updated take on an autumnal color palette showcased in florals by Wedfully Yours. From Published + Pretty… This L.A.-based couple wanted a covid-safe wedding in TX before they moved to Australia and had a baby, they announced their pregnancy during the reception! The color palette was inspired by fall but with a twist.

The ceremony was on a cliff overlooking the river and flowers flanked the aisle and wrapped around the tree that anchored the space. There was a Love Actually moment when a singer and horn player performed “All You Need is Love” as the newlyweds walked up the aisle.

The groom is Australian and the bride is Mexican, so we honored both of their backgrounds through food served. The couple loves the light they get at their home so we did a clear tent and had twinkle lights go on at dusk for a “starry night” feel.
