Don’t forget to take a sip of the full gallery captured by Ash Baumgartner, where every image is sure to age, as they say, like a fine wine.
From Ash Baumgartner… Amongst the rolling hills of California’s wine country, Sarah and Logan tied the knot surrounded by family and friends. Inspired by the beauty of vineyards and gardens, guests were greeted by lucious florals, overflowing grapes, good cocktails, and an abundance of the prettiest shades of wine from rose to cabernet. From the promise of always providing the Cholula sauce during their intimate pre-wedding vows surrounded by their parents, to infusing their love of soccer and their dogs on their wedding cake, these two incorporated bits of their personalities into their most special day.
From the beginning of wedding planning, these two worked with Jenn Robirds Events to infuse the beauty of wine country into their wedding day. A letterpress invitation suite complete with shades of wine and a watercolor envelope liner by Valley Press Co., highlighting the rolling vineyards of Sonoma, set the tone for the event for guests. Custom signage by Shimmer and Stain welcome guests to the intimate floral adorned ceremony where their bridesmaids and groomsmen stood at the altar and witnessed their love.
As guests turned the corner to cocktail hour, they were greeted with delicious spirits, lawn games, and an escort display adorned with dripping florals and grape bunches. “We Make A Grape Bunch” invited guests to their dinner, but not after competing against the bride and groom with their custom cornhole boards. Sarah, the bride, is known amongst her friends and family as the local cornhole champion.
As guests entered the Fairmont Sonoma’s luxurious tented reception space, thy were welcomed by a stunning cake display – completely with vibrant florals, their new last name and an homage to their furry friends on the back. Under chandeliers with dripping greenery and place settings with gold accents, a custom box with French macarons, and a corner lounge for guests to relax, their friends and family enjoyed an evening of delicious food, hearty wine and a good time on the dance floor.
With fun moments with soccer balls, icing each other and corn hole, to the romance of an intimate garden wedding, Sarah and Logan’s Sonoma Wedding day was a fit for these two – they really do make a grape bunch.
