From Mariel Hannah... When Hailey of Detailed Touch Events and I first talked about the initial vision of this editorial, we dreamt to create a shoot that encompassed the beauty of summers in California and yet have a touch of Tuscany. As a photographer, I often study the sun and how its light affects the region where I am photographing.
It only seemed fitting to marry the vision of California and Tuscany into one, as the lighting and landscapes in both areas are so similar. That day was a warm California spring day, a telltale sign that the summer solstice is coming soon. A perfect setting for our editorial.
