Planning a wedding is an art form! Rebecca & Eric’s scenic wedding at the Fairmont Banff Springs was a pièce de résistance, drawing inspiration from the couple’s shared love for fine art and refined taste. Julianne Young Weddings brought their creative vision to life with an elegant neutral palette and playful pops of rich red & deep magenta. Soft linens and Foxglove Studio‘s textured florals created a sophisticated backdrop for artistic focal points of hand stitched menus and sparkling gold rimmed décor and candles. From Justine Milton Photography… Rebecca & Eric dreamt of a sophisticated & romantic wedding day in the mountains with the backdrop of the “Castle in the Rockies”, the breathtaking Fairmont Banff Springs Hotel.
Their refined style and love for art inspired a modern yet playful colour palette of blush tones, neutrals, and a healthy balance of rich red and magenta, which popped elegantly against soft ivory florals and linens. The ceremony was set in the iconic Mt Stephen Hall of the hotel, with florals & pops of blush silk lining the aisle, which led to an elegant focal point of artistic & textured floral arrangements.
After photos around the scenic Banff National Park, the couple returned to the ballroom to find a completely transformed setting of harvest tables and tall, elegant centerpieces. Hand stitched menus graced every guest’s plate, with unique gold rimmed decor pieces & candles to add a sparkle in the room.
