Wander Through Wild Beauty and Romance With This Lush English Garden-Inspired Editorial!

Talk about a wild romance! Sae of Ophelia Floral Co. took inspiration from an overgrown English garden and dreamed up a flourishing haven to spotlight her favorite florals - hellebores, clematis, and garden roses - and rich, daring purple and green tones. With the coordination of Amorette Events Co., Sae infused cool-tone elements into the bespoke tablescape and incorporated a custom-built arch by Enticing Tables to create a flower-filled escape of love and serenity. From Ophelia Floral Co.... For this editorial, Sae of Ophelia Floral Co. Was inspired to bring her secret garden vision to life - a wildly romantic, overgrown, and intimate English garden that one could come across away from prying eyes. As a floral visionary, Sae wanted to focus on primarily on purple and green tones, colors that many recent couples shy away from, and she put heavy emphasis on some of her favorite flowers: hellebores, clematis, and garden roses.
We started with a towering ceremony site built from a custom, pointed arch from Enticing Tables, which Ophelia Floral Co. Used to create a botanical haven through the use of unruly greens and lush florals. We put an emphasis on rose lilys and created an atmosphere of walking into an overgrown hidden garden. We paired it with some vintage wooden chairs, courtesy of Adore Folklore to hone in on our garden theme. Our lovely bride wore a stunner of a gown from Sarah Seven, modern and chic in design with off-the-shoulder, long ruffle sleeves, and a dramatic cape, which matched perfectly with some sleek heels from Bella Belle. Beauty Bespoken created a soft, natural look to pair with the bride's beautifully bouncy, natural curls.
Our tablescape was an intimate dinner for 8, using a simple wooden table as our base, on which Ophelia Floral Co. Created a lush floral runner that spanned across the table. We used deep sea blue plates from Catalog Atelier to bring in more cool tones with black accents to add depth. The endlessly talented Epoch Design created modern beige menus to complement the wood in the table. Our bride then changed into a second, more classic dress, for which Beauty Bespoken created a sweet, romantic bun. During the depths of covid we wanted to create a magical escape. Somewhere we could dream up a hidden garden & escape to a world of love, serenity & flowers.

All-in-all, a beautiful editorial that the talented Kelsey Cowley photographed Sae's vision beautifully, with her sharp and modern-chic style that's always full of depth and evoked emotion.
