From Mackenzie Reiter Photography… High school sweethearts Elizabeth and Connor were just weeks away from their big day at The Olana, a stately mansion with French countryside elegance just outside of Dallas when it became a real possibility that our wedding could be canceled due to the pandemic.
Weddings in Texas were permitted to resume at the end of May. Elizabeth and Connor’s opulent, timeless day was spared just in time and with overwhelming gratitude. From the sparkling chandeliers, lush landscaping, pink velvet walls, and a hand-carved spiral staircase, the day had an atmosphere worthy of royalty.
“No amount of preparation can ensure that your day will turn out as planned, so try to be flexible,” said Elizabeth the bride. “Even though this pandemic makes the planning process more difficult, there are still options! Don’t forget that.”
