This picture-perfect elopement is sure to steal your heart. Held at The Lytle House in Chicago, Jennifer and Andrew said “I Do” in front of an intimate guest list of five. They turned to Pop the Knot to create a day filled with enchanting and heartfelt touches. Floral moments by Ashland Addison Floral & Event Decor bring the special day to life, and the imagery by Mandelette Photography has us feeling as if we are there celebrating! From the bride… We met during my first semester and Andrew’s last semester as graduate students at Indiana University-Bloomington through the dating app, Coffee Meets Bagel. Somehow, we were each other’s first matches on the first day we both downloaded the app, and now we will be each other’s last matches!
After the engagement night came the realities of COVID, families overseas, and our current living situations hit. Eager to start our lives together as soon as possible, we spent many nights discussing future plans. When my sister found out she had to leave the country at the end of March, it kind of hit at the same time: “Hey, why don’t we just get married? We’ll just elope!”
The small reception afterward with five of our most special friends and siblings was relaxing, fun, and comfortable. The intimacy of the wedding made it possible for us to really talk to our guests, enjoy our own wedding with each other, and truly celebrate with our loved ones.
