From the bride... My two sisters and two closest girlfriends were my bridesmaids. Getting ready with this small group was one of my favorite memories of the day. We toasted with champagne as we took photos and waited for guests to arrive.
Being a florist and part of the wedding industry myself, one of the many things that made this day so special to me was to have close friends as our wedding vendors. Our planner Susan of Weddings by Susan Dunne, our photographer Shauntelle of Sposto Photography, Kelley & Paul of 618 Studios, and my entire floral team are all people who are so dear to me, and to see them working together and pouring so much into making our day special was something that can only be described as magic.
When it came to planning wedding day details, the most important thing to both Joey and I was for our wedding to have an intentional, smooth flow, and an elegant high-end experience for our guests. What we ended up with was an intimate wedding with our closest friends and family, with an open-air reception, and - although this was a few pivots from our original vision - we now couldn’t imagine it any other way.
