Planning a Fall Wedding? You’re Going To Want To See This Amber Autumn Dream of a Styled Shoot!

I have been counting down the days til’ Summer as soon as the ball dropped on 2020, but this inspiration shoot, has me daydreaming about Fall…and also wanting to book a flight to Canada to check out this breathtaking venue that is Coutts Centre for Western Canadian Heritage. Everything from the impeccable planning and design by Lynn Fletcher Weddings to the colorful florals by Creative Edge Flowers and that marble wedding cake by Whippt Kitchen is stunning! Check out all of Justine Milton’s beautiful imagery below and don’t skip over that mobile bar cart overflowing with florals.

From Lynn Fletcher WeddingsWhile pursuing the Autumn season hues, this styled shoot showed off the natural beauty of this hidden Homestead. Keeping an eye on the forecast and chasing the turning leaves of a Canadian Fall, this shoot could not have fallen on a more striking day as every gust of wind was like a breath of nature’s orchestra.

With the sun gleaming down, and a slight breeze in the Elm trees, the purpose of this styled shoot was to show every couple that with a few strategic choices, it is possible to exemplify but not overwhelm the attributes of nature’s fruition.

Playing with a mix of bold tones and neutral hues, we paired muted jewel tones with gold accents to showcase the subdued amber prairies. To illuminate this eclectic colour palette, Creative Edge Flowers created a magnificent and dreamy bouquet, along with intentionally laid floral accents in key areas to create an intimate atmosphere in the many spaces of The Coutts Centre of Western Heritage.

Captured by Justine Milton Photography, the day beamed with drama and class that was complimented by the intricate details of a remarkable Christina Wu gown. The cake display was styled with ornate details including a vintage bar cart and custom hand calligraphy signage, which, to our luck, was accentuated by the Golden Hour hue of the setting Albertan sun. With a glass of bubbly in hand from The Prosecco Cart’s charming mobile bar, the day culminated in a relaxed setting under a stunning floral arch that intertwined both natural and artisanal elements.
