Planning a garden wedding? Ever consider throwing one inside? Soohyun and Will did just that, and the result is pure magic. The couple teamed up with Dawn Mauberret Events to create a day that was equal parts romantic, fun, and show-stopping. With stunning floral arches and a ceiling dripping with greenery, Designs By Ahn brought the indoor space to life. From Cly By Matthew… Dating wasn’t easy at first for Soohyun and Will after they met online while living in two separate cities. Will spend the first half of their date expounding on the merits of the ketogenic diet. After dinner, Will sipped on black coffee while Soohyun enjoyed her red velvet cupcake. This prompted an elderly gentleman nearby to urge ‘This guy doesn’t like cupcakes, he’s no fun’. Luckily, their fledgling courtship survived this act of sabotage.
A long distance relationship had its benefits too – the two found that since they had to travel each weekend anyway, they could just as easily meet in cities of their choosing. Over these two years, Soohyun and Will visited Austin, Denver, Chicago, New Orleans, London, Pittsburg, Seoul, and road tripped from Salt Lake City to Los Angeles.
As they enjoy their baked goods together these days, the two realize they’re quite content to be anywhere, just as long as they are together.
