From Kindergarten Classmates to Husband & Wife! See Their Ultra Chic Wedding at Pelican Hill Resort
Today's adorable couple tied the knot under the iconic Rotunda at Pelican Hill, complete with hundreds of flowers by Bloom Box, romantic drapery and sweeping views. I mean... does it get any dreamier than that?! Lynden Lane left no detail unturned and kept the festivities going off without a hitch, while the couple and their guests danced the night away in an indoor reception dripping in chandeliers. Read on to learn about their love story (they unknowingly were in the same kindergarten class!) and head on over to the full gallery to see all the steal-worthy details - captured by Feather & Stone!
From the couple... The bride and groom both grew up in Seattle nunknowingly were in the same kindergarten class. Aashima’s family moved away and they wouldn’t meet again until Aashima traveled back to Seattle for a work trip. They met again and fell in love. They took their adventures together to San Francisco and started their lives together in the city. The details of their wedding weekend were extremely and they wanted to give their guests a destination and a wedding experience to remember. Looking up and down the coast of California they landed at the beautiful Pelican Hill Resort.
Next came the design and the transformation plans! As both the bride and groom were full time professionals working in the city they knew that they wanted to be hands on, but needed to work with a team that could completely create, design and plan the wedding of their dreams. Working with the Lynden Lane Co. They focused on really curating items and design elements that would make their guests feel like the event about their experience. Lynden Lane Co suggested that we work with the impeccable Simone Le Blanc to create custom welcome bags with all of our favorite items, but still with the look and feel of our wedding.
We worked with Yonder Design to create really beautiful invitations, menus and signage that represented the cohesive botanical evening theme of the event. Lynden Lane worked with the Amber Event Production team to create custom valanced drapery and chandeliers that were different than had ever been done in the ballroom.
Really focusing one unique, but classic fabrics we tried to create a space that felt true to us, but made the guests feel like they were entering a chic dinner party. We danced the night away to the James Gang Band from West Coast Music and David even touted his DJ skills with Red Shoe La at the after party. It was really the best night of our lives.
