With so many couples’ dreams of tying the knot overseas coming to a screeching halt this year – vendors are finding creative ways to bring some major European magic to the States. Today’s styled shoot from Weddings by Susan Dunne will make you do a double take… is that a villa in the Tuscan countryside, you might ask? Nope, that’s just the stunning Sunstone Winery in Santa Ynez. Add a romantic dress and décor with an old world feel and you’ve got yourself a timeless European-inspired fête! From Kristin Leanne Photography… With travel plans to Europe changed because of COVID-19 I wanted to plan an Editorial shoot that captured the beauty of Europe in our own backyard. Sunstone Winery gave us the beauty of Italy but within the United States.

Myself and Renee Lemaire Photography then decided to open up the shoot to other photographers to try and bring some joy and creativity to other photographers whose whole businesses were put on hold because of everything going on. We reached out to Susan of Weddings by Susan Dunne to bring the shoot to reality. Her attention to detail and design aesthetic fit perfectly with our vision.

From Weddings by Susan Dunne… For the design, my inspo was really about playing off of the venue’s charm and creating something warm and inviting… What I would envision south of France wedding to feel like… We hand-selected vendors who we knew would be able to carry out our vision.
