When we caught a glimpse of today’s stunning Autumnal editorial at Kestrel Park from Janna Brown Design Co and Charmed Events Group, we couldn’t help but swoon over every last detail. From the beautiful couple, to the creamy blooms, to the romantic gowns – everything about this day was picture perfect! From Janna Brown Design Co…Our editorial concept was inspired by the golden tones of the rolling hills at Kestrel Park, and the change of seasons as autumn slowly creeps upon us photographed by Ashley Rae Photography. We selected a barley linen paired with cream china, etched glassware, and wildly lettered menus by Shasta Bell Calligraphy. Atop the tables sat untamed floral arrangements in cream, blush and mauve tones, which complimented the bride’s bouquet.
Caitlin donned a whimsical gown by Marchesa, which floated behind her as she traipsed through the wild fields and garden. As the sun began its descent, the couple was set aglow in warm golden light as they set off in a classic Porsche Speedster, making for a picture-perfect getaway leaving a tender autumn breeze in their path…
From the photographer Ashley Rae Photography… Simplicity feels refreshing at times. Every detail was simplistic in nature and accented the location beautifully. With a palette of muted autumnal colors and Autumn breezes in the glowing sunset, our location was the bespoke setting for this graceful and enduring autumn wedding. Set in one-acre completely surrounded by a 12-foot high Hornbeam hedge, the Kitchen Garden within is only revealed after walking through a lush arched doorway.
Inside a fruit orchard including peach, pluot, plum, apricot, and nectarine as well as an heirloom apple and pear orchard and a large vegetable garden. A cutting garden with over 700 tall bearded irises, 300 David Austin roses (comprised of 60 different varieties), gladiolas, tuberose, daffodils, carnations and a lavender garden. The couple graced these gardens of the estate before heading to the open sun-kissed fields. The ceremony was settled within the Santa Ynez oak trees in an organic and simplistic setting. Letting the scenery of the rolling hills be the picturesque backdrop for the nuptials.
