The minute we laid eyes on those romantic, bright red blooms against the feminine lavender fields of Provence – we were head over heels for today’s wedding inspiration from Love & Provence. The talented team behind this shoot was inspired by a fragrance, Flower by Kenzo, to create this stunning floral celebration. Lettre A Elise blew us away with their lush red and pink color arrangements that looked incredible next to the bride’s pure white gown. To see more from this dreamy day, head on over to the full gallery – all captured by Remi Dupac!
From Love & Provence… Floral, sensual, and feminine…The inspiration for the shoot came from a fragrance: Flower, by Kenzo. Love & Provence and Lettre a Elise worked together to create a modern and effortlessly sophisticated design from the iconic red flower, captured by Rémi Dupac. We wanted the design to feel clean and sophisticated at the same time. We played around with a red and pink colour palette combined with a pure white to create a contrast and complement the beauty and strength of the red flower. The venue we picked is everything you dream of when staying in the South of France.
Imagine yourselves sleeping in an authentic and luxurious Provencal Mas, then dining at the next-door restaurant which vegetables and fruits are directly hand-picked from their organic garden. Add some olive trees and a lavender field and you will have the most memorable stay in Provence! We had a crush for their lush, organic garden and thought it was the perfect place for an intimate ceremony.
Lettre à Elise ornated the fountain with lots of flowers and created a natural arch over the gazebo. We set up the dinner table in front the lavender field, the Alpilles magical landscape as background. It looked really stunning at the sunset! We balanced the lush, colourful and unstructured floral arrangements with a clean yet elegant tableware and furniture in neutral tones. Bonjour Paper created all the paper goods including handmade paper menus and blazing red place cards to remind the flowers.
“A simple and beautiful, fragile, and strong red flower, like the woman who holds it”. Our Bride would be independent, strong, but also gentle and feminine. Camille Bonardi created a glamourous makeup associated with a modern ponytail. The Bride looked absolutely gorgeous! Additionally, we wanted the dress to look airy, romantic, and feminine. French designer Louise Valentine Bridal’s Clementine dress was everything we were looking for! We loved the way it flied when the Bride walked through the lavender fields.
