We’re not sure about you, but for us, one things for sure… we’ll never tire of a classic blush palette. I mean, at this point I think it’s safe to say it’s kind of our thing ;) Today’s stunning styled shoot from Wheat and Honey Events at Hummingbird Nest Ranch reminds us why it will always be the favorite. Complete with lush floral arrangements created by Unique Floral Designs and a mountain vineyard setting – today’s full gallery is an absolute must, all taken by Rebecca Theresa Photography!
From the photographer, Rebecca Theresa Photography… The design of our editorial at Hummingbird Nest Ranch’s newest event venue space, Q Vineyard, was inspired by neutral earthy tones to showcase the beauty of this stunning mountain vineyard setting. Colors that you would naturally find in the environment around the venue, such as the cranberry colored grapes on the vines and the soft pink hues of the sun as it sets perfectly complimented the space. Set amongst vistas and rock formations, Q Vineyard offers the best of both worlds with 360 degree views where the mountains meet the grape vines.
It is perfect for both outdoor and indoor celebrations for up to 150 guests, and provides versatility for events of all sizes including microweddings and elopements. Our floral arch created by Unique Floral Designs was quite a show stopper as it glistened in the afternoon light. The top of the arch was kept free of florals as to no obstruct the astounding views of surrounding Simi Valley. The tablescape was adorned with a neutral runner, lush blooms with soft hues, and King Louis chairs to add a touch of elegance.
Our bride’s gown by Kitty Chen Couture was the perfect amount of lace and romance which paired beautifully with a delicate cathedral veil that shined in the evening light. Lace booties from Jimmy Choos’ bridal collection were a match made in heaven with our vision. Paper goods hand-crafted by Curved and Co included light pink and coral colors for our dreamy invitation suite, vows, place setting scrolls, and seating chart. Our couple was a real couple whose wedding was initially postponed, then cancelled due to Covid, so our shoot was a perfect opportunity for them to get to have a wedding experience that was robbed from them as a result of the pandemic. They were able to enjoy craft cocktails made by Command Performance Catering, a gorgeous cake by Sweet Art Bake Shop, and were able to ride off into the sunset in a classic muscle after taking photos in it perched atop the helipad.
