With jaw-dropping details from the brides Millanova wedding dress to the stunning chandelier over the dance floor, you’re going to want to keep scrolling…and get your Pinterest boards ready! Set at The Olana, this romantic and timeless affair was photographed by The Lockharts who perfectly capture every precious moment in time. With overflowing ivy and blush and cream florals by Alba Dahlia, set in acrylic this wedding was simply amazing! Be sure to check out their video below to feel all of the love!
From Glitter and Glue Weddings…A and K were a dream to work with, from the moment A reached out in regards to hiring our team she was so vocal about what she wanted in regards to her and K’s wedding day but also allowing myself and her team of vendors to express their creativity. A and K selected The Olana one of the new fabulous Walter Wedding Estate properties as their setting for a new chapter to unfold.
A and K were all about the details big and small hence why they hired GGWE. The Olana had so many intricate details in place from the intricate drapes, to the detailed embroidered wall in the bridal suite, the clean cut bachelor pad located downstairs then back up to the open chandelier filled atrium.
A and K selected a neutral palette that was so elegant and timeless with pops of champagne, and white with beautiful accents of gold that tied it all together so elegantly. We created a timeless focal structure with Ivy filled acrylic and overflowing of large beautiful blooms provided by Alba Dahlia.
The planning process with the Austin couple was so smooth and went by so fast! Mini trips back home to Dallas we were able to knock out selection of vendors when they were here because they knew what they wanted off the top and what they didn’t. Wedding day was so flawless with the dream team that was built to cater to A and K. The ceremony space was then flipped and turned into the reception accented with an acrylic white dance floor, tall squared off centerpieces with flowing ivy. The night carried on so smoothly with Adante from Le Force Entertainment keeping everyone on the dance floor all night.
My advice to couples planning their wedding would be to take it all in slowly. Don’t overwork yourself through the planning process and don’t lose yourself. Take date nights, alone time, girls night or what ever you can to take a break when you feel overwhelmed and then come back to the planning process refreshed to keep going. Planning a wedding can seem like its dragging and taking forever , but the day itself goes by in a blink of an eye. Take a moment to take it all in.
