They say, “Everything’s bigger in Texas,” and that certainly goes for this fairytale floral explosion wedding! This bride turned her family’s property into the most enchanting wedding venue ever and filled it with a surprise of florals at every turn. Natalie of Two Be Wed artfully planned the fairytale day from the wildly romantic ceremony under a flower-covered oak tree to the glamorous reception space filled with hanging blooms by Mibellarosa. To end the night, a showstopping secret garden-inspired staircase lead to a spectacualr sugar flower cake lovingly made by Becca Cakes. From Josh & Dana Fernandez… If you ever meet Lauren or Jake you will know immediately what kind, loving, and intentional people that are, so it would come at no surprise to learn how authentic and personal their wedding day was. To start, the location of the wedding was at the bride’s family’s property located in Round Top, Texas which is the Texas mecca for the town’s famous antiques show.
As for the inspiration for the overall design of the wedding, the bride, Lauren, was drawn from her love of Cicely Mary Baker’s flower fairies as well as one of Hayley Paige’s wedding gowns. The bride incorporated butterflies into her invitation suite and Dionne from Nib and Pixel even custom created handmade paper butterflies as part of the escort card display which imitated a butterfly terrarium.
From the over the top flowers by Mibellarosa to the custom created linens by Aztec Events to the sugar flower cake by Becca Cakes, the event was nothing short of spectacular, all designed by Natalie of Two Be Wed. It was hands down a fairytale wedding with the happiest of endings!
