Talk about views – The Terranea Resort in Palos Verdes, CA never ceases to amaze us with it’s jaw-dropping 180 degree views of endless sparkling sea. Today’s beautiful couple said “I do” at this dreamy place under a lush pergola covered in blooms by Honeycomb Affair in airy shades of blue, pink, green, white, and hints of gold. Later, guests danced the night away at an elegant reception complete with a floral inspired dance floor, all planned by Master Plans Event Design. You’re just going to have to check out the full gallery captured by Ether & Smith to truly experience all of the beauty this day has to offer.
From Ether & Smith… Grace & Eugene celebrated their wedding day in southern California with clear skies and all sunshine! The bride got ready in a beautiful suite overlooking the ocean with her sister and bridesmaids. Their first look was intimate and took place in a little lush nook in Terranea. They not only shared their first time seeing each other, but they also shared their vows with each other privately.
This was such a sweet and unique moment and something I encourage a lot of couples to do! Guests were greeted with 180 views of the ocean at the ceremony space. The view was framed perfectly with a pergola decorated with gorgeous florals by Honeycomb Affair. Grace & Eugene shared their I-do’s and walked down the aisle with their closest friends and family cheering them on.
Newlywed portraits were done right when the sun was setting, perfectly illuminating the sky with pinks and blues hues. Eventually, the moon came out and we were fortunate enough to capture the full moon, cliffs, and ocean behind them. Serious perfection. Live art by Chasing Linen, a live band by VIPs Entertainment, a custom bar, hor dourves, and a photo booth by Boss Brides entertained guests during cocktail hour. The impressive custom made seating chart guided guests to their seats.
The entire reception space was incredible. From the carpeting and draping to the guests’ favors and chargers, everything was immaculate. Blue, pink, green, white, and hints of gold decorated the entire space, transitioning the outside into the inside in a seamless and elegant way. The cake was a piece of art with petals almost floating off of it.
The newly married couple’s grand entrance was exciting and officially kicked off the night. The live band was a hit and was the perfect backdrop for their first dance. After heartwarming speeches were done, the couple changed into traditional clothes and did a Korean Paebaek. The night ended with lots of dancing, a bouquet toss, and cake cutting!
