A Lavish Ombre Floral Runner and a Bold Color Palette at Balboa Park

“Ombré is out of style”… said no one ever. We don’t know about you, but we couldn’t be happier this trend is here for the long haul. Today’s stunning editorial from I Love You More Events features a gorgeous auburn gown, a floral ombré runner by Bloom Theory that will take your breath away, and a secret garden venue. Head on over to the full gallery from iamletreuo photo to see all the inspiration.

From iamlatreuo photo… Today’s bold, joy-filled editorial is abounding with romantic florals in an array of attractive ombré tones, glasses of sparkling champagne glistening in the warmth of the sun, charming desserts enjoyed under the blue sky made for a celebration that embodies the saying that ‘simplicity is the essence of happiness’…. Nestled among deep canyons of Gold Medallion trees you can discover towering Italian Cypress’ in San Diego’s Balboa Park.

A true Californian gem home to many natural landmarks and attractions; however, our story takes place in a secret garden where fragrant sweet roses allure you to walking pathways, sightings of humming birds & butterflies all incased in a private Eden better known as the Casa del Rey Moro Gardens. The inspiration for this shoot came from a poem entitled ‘Everything Is So Simple’ by Jose Martí about the simplicities of life’s expected interchanges and coming into the age of maturity by acceptance, which was beautifully engraved on paper by: Shop by Kari Winters in Spanish to stay true with the aesthetics of the Venue. Three members of this project during the design lost loved ones and I felt it was only appropriate to ask that their names be included in the suite and as table guests for their legacy to be honored and left with us always.

Overlooking the gardens intimately rests an inviting table scape fit for a regal gathering paired with trickling tapers, fresh fruits, a lavish ombré partition of florals courtesy of Bloom Theory Design, to delicate paper welcoming guests with timeless elegance. The most delectable looking white cake from Peggy Laio, topped with sugar blooms beckoned our affinity with florals, in soft shades of pink and ivory placed by a classic wishing well. The bride wore a stunning gown by Carol Hannah, just perfect for the splendor of the venue’s charm. We wanted to tie in a bold complementary color to complete the color palette that gave the artful illusion of trees subtle changes. The details found in the hint of iridescence with a romantic yet soft and classic hair and makeup beautifully styled by RProMakeup Artist & Hairlogy1121. While the groom looked incredibly debonair in a classic Black Tux anchored with a cognac velvet bow tie for the finishing touch. No matter what season of year you find yourself at Balboa Park, you can most assuredly fall in love in the breathtaking garden setting, the sempiternal architecture to the tranquil sounds of its pooling fountain, which all provide the most charming backdrops. The environment conveys such a timeless romance with historical descriptions guaranteed to leave you feeling inspired…
