From Joel Serrato Film Photographer… Keeping the meaningful tradition alive Mary and Richard decided to get married at the beautiful Four Seasons Santa Barbara just like her mother and her sister did years prior.
This venue holds a special place in their families life celebrating three different marriages. We had the honor of planning Mary’s sisters wedding and when Mary asked us to help her with her wedding we were so happy.
You often hear of family members not wanting to get married at the same place but we loved how that didn’t matter to this family and they instead thought of the venue as a sacred spot for their families and generations to wed. It makes me just imagine years from now with all their kids and grandkids going to this place and talking about all the beautiful memories they shared and passing the tradition down to generations. Sticking with the classy nature of the Four Seasons Mary decided on a classic wedding style but brought in a little fun with her bridesmaid dressed of different hues of blues and patterns. One thing that was important to Mary and Richard was that their guests felt entertained so we hired the talented Kevin Miso for ceremony and cocktail hour and then West Coast Music to really get the party started.
