A Fairytale Rancho Las Lomas Wedding That Will Make You Happy Cry!
From Jessica Grazia Mangia... Andrew and Celina are some of the purest souls I’ve ever encountered in my wedding photography career. Both coming from very strong-bonded families, they wanted an intimate wedding that reflected that pure beauty of their love with a lush garden theme - while also keeping the event modest in style. They visited Rancho Las Lomas about a year prior to their engagement and immediately fell in love with it’s layout, aesthetic and lush architecture - it was exactly where Celina dreamed of getting married!
After booking their venue, they contacted me! They just loved the photographs of mine that the ranch was sharing on their social media. I remember well Celina’s words: your photography is “different”, it looks like someone painted them, all the colors are so creamy and true, the light is perfect.”
What she didn’t know was she was describing the beauty of capturing memories on film. Their wedding was a very intimate affair, they wanted to spend as much time as possible with their loved ones. From the ceremony to the reception, you could totally feel in the air that sense of unity and love that only a very tight family unit has.
They chose a very romantic and elegant design, that would remain timeless; soft blush, sage green, gold and ivory were the main colors used across all the details, including the beautiful flowers provided by Beautiful Savage Flowers. The overall curation of the wedding was assigned to Jenn of Engaged Events who made this bride and groom’s dream come true.
From the bride… For my dress, I knew I had to have long sleeves and a low back which is why I fell in love with my dress the moment I first tried it on. It fit right in with the romantic and elegant vibe of the wedding. My mom handmade my veil with the help of my sister and it could not have been more beautiful. It was my dad’s idea to have a mariachi band play at our cocktail hour. Everyone truly enjoyed listening to them play and it was such a great way of bringing in some of our Mexican traditions!
